09/28/2023, 1:34 PMYes, ory seems to require the email:read scope to fetch the private emails but with a github app we don't receive any scopes so this call is never made. Is there anyway to bypass this check and make that call anyway?

09/28/2023, 1:38 PMAh, nvm. We do support the _app version of the provider. It’s just not exposed in the Ory Network UI.
You should be able to create a provider using that implementation using the CLI.

Maybe we should still create an issue to address this @bland-eye-99092 wdyt?
I stumpled into this before. And I think github_app is the recommended way to do it nowadays.
