Hi,

We are running hydra version: v1.11.10 and are attemtempting to enable tracing using the OpenTelemetry provider.

We have configured a client through the changes in the following Dockerfile



as well as the following config item:


We have an OpenTelemetry sidecar that is deployed along with the hydra service. The traces are making it to the sidecar, but all traces making it to the sidecar have span.kind set to 'internal'. We were hoping to be able to distinguish between the different traces. For instance, API calls coming into hydra being marked with span.kind: 'server'.

Is this possible with our version of Hydra and if so, are we missing any configurations to distinguish between the traces
