Hello,

Ory Kratos seems to expose an API allowing to retrieve an identity by "externalId". I can see in the code of Kratos there is a <https://github.com/ory/kratos/blob/81e9151758d89d31a673b2513102ccb9fe46fd1f/persistence/sql/identity/persister_identity.go#L1363|query to find by external_id>. However, when I look in all the tables (self-hosted), I cannot find any column called "external_id"

Moreover, there does not seem to be any persistence of the external_id, despite it being mentioned in the /admin endpoint to create identities.

Am I understanding this wrong?

Hello <@U0423KSS5F1>, I do run the migration automatically in my local setup (on v1.3.1) but did not realize this was a new feature from the release 25.4.0! I just upgraded to 25.4.0 and can now see the column.
